The intelligent functions of low-voltage switchgear are mainly reflected in real-time monitoring, remote control, fault early warning, energy management, and system integration, significantly improving the automation level and operation and maintenance efficiency of the power distribution system.

Core Intelligent Functions

Real-time Monitoring and Data Acquisition: Intelligent low-voltage switchgear incorporates high-precision sensors and intelligent instruments, enabling real-time acquisition of key parameters such as current, voltage, power factor, energy consumption, frequency, temperature, and humidity. Some high-end models (such as Schneider BlokSeT) can monitor over 200 electrical parameters, achieving comprehensive awareness of equipment operating status.

Remote Control and Automated Operation: Supports remote opening and closing, parameter setting, and load switching operations via SCADA systems, industrial IoT platforms, or mobile apps. Combined with PLC, it can realize automated logic such as automatic switching of backup power and load priority management, reducing manual intervention and improving response speed.

Fault Early Warning and Diagnostic Capabilities: Through built-in temperature, partial discharge, and acoustic fingerprint sensors, the system can detect potential problems such as contact overheating, insulation aging, and loose connections in advance, enabling fault prediction. For example, Schneider Electric's BlokSeT wireless temperature sensor can achieve real-time temperature measurement of key points on the busbar, with an early warning accuracy rate exceeding 95%.

Arc Protection and Five-Proof Interlocking: Equipped with an arc fault detection and rapid disconnection device, the system offers internal combustion arc protection up to 85kA/0.4s, effectively ensuring personnel safety. Simultaneously, through mechanical and electrical dual interlocking, it achieves five-proof functions, including preventing accidental opening and closing of circuit breakers and preventing the closing of grounding switches while energized, eliminating operational accidents.
